Robotics Software Engineer
Full-Time, Part-Time, and Internships – Multiple Positions Available

Position Overview
We’re seeking passionate Robotics Software Engineers to design, develop, and implement robust software solutions for our robotic systems. You’ll work on real-world applications, ensuring our technology is functional, reliable, and high-performing. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a startup environment, collaborating with renowned experts to push the boundaries of underwater robotics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize software for autonomous robotic systems.
  • Integrate and test real robots and sensors.
  • Collaborate closely with our engineering team to iterate on system performance and reliability.
  • Contribute to the design of robust, scalable robotic solutions for challenging environments.
  • Participate in field tests and provide continuous improvements based on feedback.

Qualifications
  • BS or MS in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Current students with the right skills are welcome!

Required Skills/Experience:
  • Proficiency in C++ and Python
  • Demonstrated experience with software systems integrated with robots and sensors
  • Familiarity with robotics frameworks such as ROS2
  • Experience with Linux environments

Desired Skills/Experience:
  • Experience with SLAM and state estimation
  • Expertise in robotic perception and estimation
  • Field experience operating robotic systems
  • Knowledge of control system design
  • Background in task and motion planning
  • Project or team management experience
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD processes

Other Requirements:
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident (this requirement cannot be waived)
  • Part-time positions require a commitment of approximately 20 hours per week
  • Occasional travel for field testing is expected
